5. Refunds, Cancellations and Transfers

We encourage learners and organizations to review the course description, delivery format, duration, outcomes and access details before confirming enrolment. This helps ensure the selected course is the right fit before access or training arrangements begin.

Our practical approach

Once course access has been issued, learning materials have been made available, live training has started, or a course completion certificate has been issued, fees are generally not refundable. This reflects the nature of digital learning access, training preparation and certificate administration.

Where a request is made before access is issued or before a scheduled training session begins, AIGCI may review the request in writing and, where appropriate, may offer one of the following options:

  • Transfer to another available course or cohort
  • Deferral to a later training date
  • Training credit for future use within a reasonable period
  • Refund review where required by applicable law or approved by AIGCI

Corporate training cancellation, postponement or substitution terms may be handled separately in the relevant proposal, invoice or written agreement.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where applicable law provides mandatory rights in relation to faulty, unavailable or materially misdescribed services, those rights will apply.

6. Course Completion Certificates

AIGCI may issue course completion certificates to learners who satisfy the relevant course completion requirements. These certificates confirm completion of an AIGCI learning pathway.

AIGCI course completion certificates do not represent organizational ISO/IEC 42001 certification, accreditation by ISO or certification issued by ISO. Organizational certification, where applicable, is performed by independent certification bodies under their own processes.

AIGCI may withhold, correct, revoke or reissue a certificate if learner details are inaccurate, course completion requirements are not met, misuse is identified or administrative correction is required.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the website, learning platform, course materials or support channels. You must not:

  • Share, resell, copy, upload or distribute course materials without permission
  • Share login details or allow unauthorized access to course content
  • Use the website or materials for unlawful, misleading or harmful purposes

8. Intellectual Property

Your course enrolment gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access and use the materials for your own learning. It does not transfer ownership or allow reproduction, resale, public sharing or commercial reuse.

We aim to keep website and course information accurate, current and useful. However, AI governance standards, regulations, guidance and professional practices may change over time.

AIGCI may update course content, schedules, instructors, delivery methods, access periods, pricing or website information where reasonably necessary. We may also correct errors, update outdated content or improve materials without prior notice.
